Is it possible to customise the programmes for individual companies or organisations?

Yes – this would usually be done by adding a company-specific module to the existing courseware, although we would be happy to discuss a range of other options with your training manager / coordinator, or manager responsible for selecting training programmes. Courseware development may attract an additional development fee.

Could we host the material ourselves?

For our public programmes, the material is mailed hardcopy, with electronic format also available. To ensure consistency we would normally host the electronic format ourselves, but it is possible (subject to suitable agreements and contracts) that we would allow a customer to host their company-specific version of the programmes.

The examination software application would still normally be hosted by the Telecoms Academy.

Could we brand the material with our own logo?

Joint branding can be discussed, but depends on the nature of the customized programme, and having suitable agreements in place.

Would a customised programme still lead to a Certificate or Diploma?

So long as six standard modules are included in the programme, and the examination is sat as appropriate, we would be happy to award the Certificate or Diploma. Accreditation and Endorsement by external bodies should not be jeopardized in this case. If any departure from this standard format is required, we may still be happy to award Certificates or Diplomas, but accreditation or endorsement by external bodies could be jeopardized.

We think the best way to customize the programmes is through the ADDITION of one or more company-specific modules, allowing the full programmes to be undertaken, but extending the time-scales to allow for the extra modules. Examinations would be adjusted accordingly.
